Great location with a fun hip vibe. Stayed for 2 nights and had an excellent visit. Loved the hotel humor with witty quotes on napkins and ads. It rained while we were there and we tried the Nordic experience which is sauna and cold dip. Staff were helpful and encouraging which I appreciated. Room was clean and loved the tablet that opened/closed curtains, lights etc.

Best housekeeping in the world. Aman level detail. This hotel does it all right - turn down service, attention, clean dialed work. How it should be done.

I loved everything about this hotel. We had a 4:10 am fire alarm which is not the hotels fault and it still didn’t change my opinion. From every attention to details like robes, water and ice always ready in your room to the cleanliness of the hotel. It’s 5 star. The staff are the nicest I think I have ever seen in a hotel. Ever single one of them. I usually stay at Marriott, but moving forward I will always look for a Fairmont.

Early check in and late checkout. Bag drop on checkout day until afternoon and parking. The room refresh when you leave for the evening is a nice touch as well.

Two stays, two experiences. We stayed before and after a trip to Whistler. Low floor city view = don't stay again, high floor water view = great hotel. On the first stay our 4th floor corner room suffered from so much road noise that we were unable to sleep even in the middle of the night following a flight from the UK. The rooms are clean, reasonable size and generally fine. Breakfast was good. Bar area nice and there is a great independent coffee shop within the hotel. Whenever we tried to use it, the courtesy car service had too long a wait to be of any use. The large lobby area and seating are only available if you are purchasing drinks, if you are checking out and waiting for transport, you can stand... Despite the apparent moan, I would stay again.
